Nationwide Infrastructure

PSBL operates 18 branches (area 160,000 Sq. Ft) across Bangladesh, all functioning as stocking points. A strategic expansion plan is in place to further enhance nationwide healthcare accessibility.

Central Distribution Center (CDC)

    • Location: Ashulia, Savar
    • Area: Approximately 50,000 square feet
    • Facilities:
      • Temperature-controlled storage (<25°C)
      • Cold rooms (2°C–8°C)

 

The CDC receives finished goods directly from manufacturers or ports (for imported products) and distributes stock to all 18 branches.

  • Cryogenic (<-197°C)

 

Distribution

PSBL’s distribution model is divided into Primary and Secondary Distribution.

Primary Distribution

  • Movement from CDC to branches
  • Weekly replenishment on a perpetual basis
  • Managed by Client Account Management tea
  • Transport via insured rented covered vans

Secondary Distribution

    • Branch-to-customer delivery nationwide
    • Fleet of 84 delivery vehicles and 16 motorcycles in major cities
    • GPS-enabled real-time vehicle monitoring
    • Fixed-route delivery model with weekly coverage up to Upazila level
    • Approximately 435 delivery routes and 7,600 delivery points

 

Operations are supported by ~480 field personnel supervised by 21 supervisors, using the internally developed route management system “Shankhochil.”
